Book of the Priestess

In the video slot "Book of the Priestess" by Evoplay, players encounter a captivating Aztec jungle environment, complete with ancient stone carvings, lush ruins, and four distinct priestess symbols, alongside the traditional card ranks of 10, J, Q, K, and A. The game is structured with five reels and three rows, featuring ten fixed paylines. The Book symbol serves a dual purpose as both a Wild and Scatter, substituting for other symbols and activating the Free Spins feature when three or more are collected anywhere on the reels.

Once the Free Spins feature is triggered, players are awarded ten spins, during which a regular non-special symbol is randomly chosen to become an Expanding Symbol. After regular wins are calculated, this symbol can expand to fill an entire reel. The game also includes an “Ancient Mask” mechanic, where each additional Book Scatter collected during free spins decreases a counter from seven. When this counter reaches zero, players receive five extra free spins along with an additional Expanding Symbol, and the counter resets. Up to nine different symbols can transform into Expanding Symbols during this feature.

Additionally, there is a Bonus Buy option that allows players to directly enter the Free Spins round for a multiple of their bet. The game also supports autoplay and includes features such as scattering wins alongside standard line wins. Free spins can be retriggered by gathering enough Scatters during the Free Spins round. The overall gameplay emphasizes Expanding Symbols, the progress bar mechanic, dual Scatter/Wild symbols, Free Spins, the option to Buy Free Spins, and fixed paylines.
