Eye of Medusa

Hacksaw's Eye of Medusa is a video slot featuring a 5-reel, 5-row grid that provides 3,125 ways to achieve wins. The game immerses players in the dark world of Ancient Greek mythology, showcasing elements such as Medusa, Perseus, snakes, and stone statues through striking visuals. A notable mechanic in the game is the Super Cascades feature: when players hit a winning combination, the regular symbols involved are removed along with other matching symbols, allowing new ones to fall into place and potentially create multiple wins from a single spin.

The Wild symbol, represented by Medusa in either Silver or Gold, is crucial for activating advanced game mechanics. When high-paying symbols win with Medusa present, they become Petrified, locking at the bottom of the grid until the cascade sequence concludes. Once this happens, the Petrified symbols reveal multipliers from different tiers: Bronze, Silver, or Gold, reaching up to 500×. Medusa's Wild multiplier also comes into play, with the Silver Wild offering modest multipliers (up to around 4×) and the Gold Wild providing significantly higher multipliers (up to about 20×).

There are two primary free spins bonus rounds available. The “Snakes & Stones” bonus is activated by landing 3 or 4 scatter symbols in the base game, awarding 10 or 12 free spins respectively, with enhanced chances of Medusa symbols featuring higher multipliers. During this bonus, additional scatters can yield extra free spins (+2 or +4 spins). The “Gorgon’s Gold” bonus is triggered by landing 5 scatters in the base game, granting 12 free spins. In this round, any Medusa Wild that appears sets a minimum multiplier for all future Medusa Wilds, ensuring that subsequent symbols will have that value or higher.

Eye of Medusa also includes Feature Buy options (where regulations permit), allowing players to purchase enhanced spin modes. One option increases the likelihood of triggering a bonus game, while another guarantees a Medusa symbol with a minimum multiplier, or provides direct access to one of the two free spins bonus rounds. The game offers a maximum win potential of up to 10,000 times the bet.
