9 Arrows of Odysseus

The video slot "9 Arrows of Odysseus," developed by Yggdrasil in collaboration with SpinOn, immerses players in the grandeur of Greek mythology, showcasing elements such as ships, the sea, legendary beasts, and the hero Odysseus himself. This game features a 5×3 grid with 20 fixed paylines, where low-value symbols are represented by Greek letters, while premium symbols include the Cyclops, the Siren, and the Hydra. Odysseus serves as the Wild symbol, able to substitute for other paying symbols, except for the Arrow Scatter and Free Spins Scatter, and can form its own winning combinations.

A notable aspect of the game is the Arrow Scatter symbols; landing three or more anywhere on the reels triggers an instant win based on a prize ladder that rewards players for 3, 4, 5, or up to 9 Arrows, in addition to any regular line wins. The Free Spins Scatter, illustrated as a ship, appears exclusively on reels 2, 3, and 4, and collecting three of these at once activates the Free Spins feature.

At the beginning of the Free Spins round, players spin a bonus wheel to determine two key elements: the number of free spins awarded, with options ranging from 10 to 30, and the multiplier for line wins during the Free Spins, which can be either x2 or x3. However, wins from Arrow Scatter symbols maintain their fixed prize from the ladder and are not affected by the Free Spins multiplier.

During the Free Spins, players can re-trigger the feature by landing three Free Spins Scatters again on reels 2-4, adding the same number of spins received from the wheel to the total, while keeping the original multiplier unchanged. The game does not offer a Bonus Buy option, and players can achieve a maximum potential win of up to 3,500 times their bet.

The graphics are vibrant and detailed, depicting oceanic landscapes, ships, clear skies, and mythical creatures, while the sound design enhances the heroic ambiance that aligns with the theme. Players can anticipate thrilling moments during both regular spins with the Arrow Scatters and the Free Spins phase, where the bonus wheel and multiplier create heightened excitement.
