Second Strike

Quickspin presents Second Strike, a video slot that captures the essence of classic fruit machines. This game features a layout of 5 reels and 3 rows, complemented by 10 fixed paylines. The vibrant theme showcases traditional symbols such as cherries, plums, grapes, melons, bells, stars, lucky 7s, and diamonds, all enhanced by striking graphics that frame the reels. In the base game, players will find a Wild symbol that can replace regular symbols to create winning combinations. Notably, there is no free spins feature or separate bonus game in this slot. The main attraction lies in the “Second Strike” feature, which activates whenever a player achieves a symbol win. An outer wheel surrounding the reels lights up the symbols involved in the winning line. If the marker on the wheel lands on one of these illuminated symbols, additional matching symbols are randomly added to the reels. The number of extra symbols varies based on the initial win, with three-of-a-kind providing 6 extras, four-of-a-kind offering 8, and five-of-a-kind granting 10 extras. These additional symbols can lead to a “second win” without requiring another spin. With a wide range of bet sizes, Second Strike caters to both low and high-stakes players, while its high volatility indicates that wins may be less frequent but can be significantly enhanced when the Second Strike feature is triggered.
