Valkyries

The video slot "Valkyries" by Yggdrasil features a layout of 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 10 fixed paylines. Set against a stunning operatic backdrop inspired by Norse mythology, the game prominently showcases Valkyries at the gates of Valhalla. A notable gameplay element is the Power Reel feature, which activates an additional horizontal reel beneath the main grid when two scatter symbols appear, allowing red or blue wilds to land. The red wilds, referred to as "Dropping Wilds," move down one position with each respin in both the base and bonus rounds until they vanish, while the blue "Locking Wilds" remain stationary. Each wild can have multipliers that range from 1× to 10×, and when they overlap, their multipliers combine. The Wild Respin feature is initiated by two scatters and persists until there are no more Dropping Wilds left. If three or more scatters are landed, players trigger a free spins round that grants ten free spins; during this feature, the Power Reel is active on every spin, and each Locking Wild provides two extra free spins. Furthermore, a bonus buy option is available, enabling players to access the free spins directly without needing to wait for scatters in the base game. Designed with high volatility, the game appeals to more seasoned players, offering the chance for substantial payouts through its various wild mechanics and multipliers.
