Valhalla Saga. Thunder of Thor

Yggdrasil's Valhalla Saga. Thunder of Thor is a video slot featuring 5 reels and 3 rows, with a total of 20 paylines, inspired by Norse mythology and centered on the god Thor along with his hammer, Mjölnir. The visuals showcase rugged landscapes of Asgard, Viking ships, axes, runic symbols, and a wild hammer that can replace regular pay symbols. A notable aspect of the game is the “Thunder of Thor” modifier, which can trigger randomly during the base game, introducing wild symbols with multipliers that range from 2x to 100x; these multipliers apply only once per winline. Scatters play a crucial role, as landing five or more anywhere on the reels activates the Free Spins bonus round, granting 5 free spins. If players manage to land four scatters, they can trigger a Bonus Respin feature, offering a chance to land a fifth scatter and unlock Free Spins. During the Free Spins, a feature called PowerLinks highlights the reel positions where the triggering scatters appeared. Additional scatters landing in these highlighted areas can upgrade the frames through various tiers—wooden, bronze, silver, gold, and fire. At the conclusion of the free spins, each framed position reveals a prize or jackpot based on its frame level, with the highest Fire frame capable of containing the Mega jackpot. Additionally, outside the bonus round, players have the option to utilize a Bonus Buy feature, allowing them to pay a fixed multiple of their stake—often 60×—to gain immediate access to the Free Spins feature. The game is characterized by high volatility and offers a maximum win potential of up to 10,000× the bet when wild multipliers and the PowerLinks feature are combined.
