Dark Spiral

Dark Spiral, created by Hacksaw, is a video slot that features 6 reels and 4 rows, starting with 4,096 ways to win, which can expand to 331,776 through the Summoning Symbols feature. The game is steeped in horror elements, drawing from anime and body horror, with dark environments, fragmented figures, and unsettling transformations. The Cascading mechanic is central to gameplay; when a win occurs, the winning symbols vanish, allowing remaining symbols to drop and new ones to come in, potentially leading to further wins.

A key highlight is the Summoning Symbols, which appear on reels 2 to 5 in sizes of 1×2, 1×3, or 1×4, revealing stacks of identical symbols or Wilds. The size of these symbols dictates how many can stack up, with a maximum of 6–12 symbols possible. If a Wild lands directly above or below a Summoning symbol on the same reel, the Summoning symbol expands to encompass the Wild.

Players can access three types of free spins: Shattered, activated by 3 scatter FS; Twisted, triggered with 4; and Tortured Hidden Epic Bonus, which requires 5. Each type grants 10 free spins, with Shattered increasing the frequency of Summoning symbols, Twisted making them sticky throughout the round, and Tortured Hidden Epic ensuring at least two Summoning symbols appear on the first spin while retaining sticky symbols.

The game also includes a Feature Buy option, offering choices such as Bonushunt FeatureSpins to boost bonus activation chances, Summon the FeatureSpins to guarantee at least two Summoning symbols, and the ability to directly purchase Shattered or Twisted free spins at a fixed cost multiple of the bet.

Visually, Dark Spiral presents an intensely oppressive atmosphere, characterized by monochromatic colors accented with red and dark tones, alongside bizarre, surreal symbols, creating a stark contrast to the typical bright and cheerful slots. The potential maximum payout can reach up to 10,000 times the bet, driven by the Summoning mechanisms, enhanced free spins, and the expansion of winning ways.
