Welcome Fortune

Novomatic's Welcome Fortune is a video slot that immerses players in an Asian-themed environment adorned with jade coins, sacred scrolls, and various symbols of good fortune such as feng shui coins, gold bars, bells, bonsai trees, and the cheerful Chinese master Choy. The game features a 5-reel, 25-payline layout during the base game, incorporating traditional card low symbols alongside premium thematic icons. Choy serves as the Wild symbol, substituting for standard symbols (except for Jade Coins and Scrolls) to help form winning combinations; however, he is limited to appearing on specific reels during the Free Games. Jade Coins function as Scatters, triggering a Free Games round when three or more are present; this round grants ten spins and combines the middle three reels into a large central reel. Landing a Jade Coin on this central reel awards additional Free Games, while a Scroll will activate the Hold & Respin feature. The Scroll symbols come with fixed prize values or jackpot levels and can trigger the Hold & Respin feature when six or more appear in the base game or when a Giant Scroll is present during Free Games. In the Hold & Respin feature, all Scrolls remain locked, providing three respins, and each new Scroll resets the respin count; filling all eligible positions with Scrolls can lead to the Grand Jackpot. Welcome Fortune by Novomatic does not feature multipliers beyond those associated with symbols or jackpots, nor does it offer a progressive element.
