Aurum Codex

Red Tiger presents Aurum Codex, a video slot featuring 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 20 fixed paylines. The setting is a mysterious alchemist's laboratory, adorned with ancient symbols, potions, manuscripts, and skulls, alluding to the theme of transmuting base metals into gold. In the base game, the Alchemy Wilds serve as the primary Wild feature, appearing exclusively on reels 1 and 5, and locking in place for the subsequent spin when they land. If two Alchemy Wilds align on the same row, they will convert all symbols between them into Golden Wilds, which can substitute for all paying symbols and enhance winning opportunities. To activate the Free Spins feature, players need to land three scatter symbols, represented by hourglasses, on reels 2, 3, and 4. This grants an initial 10 free spins, with the possibility of the hourglass randomly awarding up to 5 additional spins, potentially totaling 20 free spins. During the Free Spins round, any Alchemy Wilds that appear become sticky, remaining fixed in their positions for the entire duration of the feature. Regular symbols consist of low-paying royals from 10 to Ace, alongside higher-paying themed symbols such as keys, scrolls, skulls, and a set of scales. The scales symbol is the highest paying regular symbol, rewarding players more when three or more land on a payline. This game does not include a bonus buy option or a progressive jackpot in its core mechanics.
