Sun of Egypt

Booongo's Sun of Egypt is a video slot featuring 5 reels and 25 paylines, all set against an Ancient Egyptian backdrop. Players will encounter symbols such as pharaohs, scarabs, ankhs, and hieroglyphic low cards, all framed by desert sands and temple architecture. A notable aspect of the game is the Hold & Win bonus round, which activates when six or more Sun symbols appear anywhere on the reels. Once triggered, the Sun symbols become locked in place, and players receive a series of respins, starting with three. Each time a new Sun symbol lands, the respin counter resets. These Sun symbols can carry fixed cash values or jackpot labels, including Mini, Major, and Grand, with the Grand Jackpot awarded for filling all fifteen reel positions with Suns. Additionally, landing three Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4 activates the Free Spins feature, granting eight initial free spins and the possibility of retriggering by landing more Scatters during the feature. During Free Spins, lower-value symbols are removed, ensuring that only high-paying symbols, Wilds, Scatters, and Suns are present. The Wild symbol in the game substitutes for regular symbols to assist in forming winning combinations, excluding Scatter and Sun symbols. Bets can be placed at low to moderate levels per spin, making the game accessible while still offering significant potential payouts through its bonus features. The ultimate win in Sun of Egypt is achieved by hitting the Grand Jackpot during the Hold & Win round, which can multiply the bet by as much as 1000 times.
