The slot game Mighty Munching Melons was created by Pragmatic Play and features a classic fruit theme reminiscent of vintage slot machines. With a 5x3 structure, the game has ten fixed paylines. Players can interact with symbols such as melons, oranges, lemons, grapes, cherries, and royal cards. Although there is no wild symbol, the melon acts as a bonus symbol with special functions. The main focus of Mighty Munching Melons is its bonus round, which is triggered by landing three scatter symbols.
In the bonus round, players receive three respins, where only coins and melons appear on the reels. The melons have the ability to move across the screen, collecting coins and increasing a global multiplier with each one that appears. A rare ghost melon may also appear, growing in size and removing symbols from the grid. Additionally, players can choose to use an Ante bet or a bonus buy feature to enhance their chances of triggering the bonus round. The game is designed to evoke nostalgia for video game classics, particularly inspired by Pacman.
You can play it for real money.
