"Legacy of Athena," created by Red Rake Gaming, is a video slot that features a grid consisting of 6 reels and 5 rows. It employs a "pay anywhere" system, rewarding players with wins when seven or more matching symbols appear anywhere on the reels. The game is inspired by ancient Greek mythology, focusing on the goddess Athena, and showcases symbols like owls, helmets, and various ancient artifacts, all enhanced by immersive graphics and sound that evoke the atmosphere of Olympus.
Each time a win occurs, the game triggers an Avalanche or cascade feature, which removes winning symbols and allows new ones to drop in, potentially resulting in several wins from a single spin. A notable aspect of the game is the Multipliers Orbs, which can appear randomly during both the main gameplay and free spins, offering multipliers that range from x2 to x100. All multipliers collected on the screen are summed and applied to the total cascade win.
The Free Spins feature activates when three or more BONUS symbols land on the reels. Players begin with ten free spins at a multiplier of x1. During this feature, collecting BONUS symbols fills Athena's progression meter, which has three levels; advancing through these levels awards five extra spins and increases the multiplier to x2, x3, and ultimately x10 at the final level.
Although there is no standard Bonus Buy feature available in all markets, some operators may permit players to purchase direct entry into the free spins mode. The game is designed to work seamlessly on both smartphones and tablets, supporting both portrait and landscape orientations. An Autoplay mode is also available for players who wish to spin multiple times automatically, with customizable settings for win or loss limits.
In summary, "Legacy of Athena" offers a blend of engaging mechanics, including cascades, a "pay anywhere" feature, random multiplier orbs, and a tiered free spins system with progressive multipliers, creating a captivating gaming experience from Red Rake Gaming.
