Ronin Stackways

Hacksaw's Ronin Stackways is a video slot featuring a 5×4 reel grid that utilizes the Stackways™ mechanic, offering as many as 100,000 ways to win. The game draws inspiration from feudal Japan, showcasing wandering samurai, or “ronin,” alongside stylized animal characters and tranquil landscapes filled with waterfalls and temples.

Central to the gameplay are the Stackways symbols, which exist in two varieties. Normal Stackways can convert their reel into stacks of 2-4 matching symbols when they contribute to a winning combination. In contrast, Revealing Stackways symbols enhance this feature, unveiling stacks of 5-10 matching symbols for greater win potential.

Players can enjoy two modes of free spins: “Stack Spins” and “Super Stack Spins.” The former is activated by landing three FS scatter symbols, awarding 10 free spins with increased chances for both types of Stackways. During this mode, additional scatters can retrigger more spins, providing 2 extra spins for two scatters and 4 for three.

“Super Stack Spins” is initiated by landing four FS scatter symbols, also granting 10 free spins, but exclusively featuring Revealing Stackways symbols, which heighten the value of each stack. Similar to Stack Spins, extra FS scatters can lead to additional free spins.

For players in eligible regions, Ronin Stackways offers Bonus Buy or FeatureSpins options, allowing them to pay a multiple of their base bet to access enhanced spins or directly enter either free spins feature.

This game does not include wild symbols, focusing instead on the interplay between stacked reels and free spin features, emphasizing the expansion of winning ways rather than standalone bonus rounds outside of free spins. When everything aligns, particularly during Super Stack Spins, players can achieve maximum wins of up to 5,000× their bet, making the stacked reels and Revealing Stackways especially lucrative at those times.

You can play it for real money.
