Empress of the Shadows

Empress of the Shadows is a video slot developed by Hacksaw, featuring a grid layout of 5 reels and 4 rows, along with 20 fixed paylines. Players are drawn into a dark gothic world, where a sinister empress, fierce wolves, and ritualistic symbols create a chilling atmosphere complemented by striking visuals. In the base game, players may come across Mystery symbols that appear randomly, which can transform into a basic symbol, a wild, or a cash win of up to 100 times the bet. If three or more Mystery symbols land in a single spin, the respin feature is activated, allowing these symbols to remain on the screen and potentially trigger additional respins with new symbols.

During the respins, if a new Mystery symbol lands on top of an existing one, it will receive a random multiplier that ranges from x2 to x100, and these multipliers can stack with winning combinations. The free spins feature, known as Dark Fortune Spins, is initiated by scatter symbols: landing three scatters awards 8 spins, four scatters grant 10 spins, and five scatters provide 12 spins, with the first spin hitting five scatters ensuring at least three Mystery symbols. Throughout the Dark Fortune Spins, all Mystery symbols remain fixed in place, although they may change positions between spins, and respins are not available during this feature.

Additionally, players can opt to purchase access to various features or free spins through four Bonus Buy options: BonusHunt FeatureSpins, Dark Dame FeatureSpins, Dark Fortune Free Spins, and Extreme Dark Fortune Free Spins. The game's sound design adds to the dark and dramatic ambiance, featuring symbols such as a crown, dark books, a ritual knife, and noble jewels. The maximum win multiplier can reach as high as 12,000 times the bet, and there are varied betting levels available. This game is a collaboration between Hacksaw and Bullshark Games.
