Power of Love by Yggdrasil is a video slot that revolves around a romantic theme, featuring 5 reels and 4 rows, along with 40 fixed paylines. The design draws inspiration from the 1950s, highlighted by neon lights, pink skies, and a rockabilly atmosphere, showcasing symbols such as a fashionable woman, a suave man, a rose, a champagne bottle, and a sparkling ring. A Wild symbol named "Power of Love" can substitute for all paying symbols, except for the Scatter symbols.
To enrich the gaming experience, the "Love Meter" is located to the right of the grid, consisting of twenty levels that can enhance the likelihood of triggering various bonus features. The Love Meter activates when both halves of a heart Scatter appear on reels 4 and 5, determining if players will receive one or more of the three bonuses: Love Grows, Love Is In The Air, and Love Is Popping Up.
The Love Grows feature expands the reels to a maximum height of 5×8 and increases the paylines to as many as 80, often in combination with other bonuses. Love Is In The Air randomly upgrades low-value symbols into higher-value ones, potentially transforming them into Wilds or specific Scatters. On the other hand, Love Is Popping Up brings Cupid into play, who shoots Wilds onto the reels, mainly affecting the first three reels, and can work alongside Love Grows or Love Is In The Air.
Landing three Scatter symbols, depicted as a pressure gauge, on reels 1, 3, and 5 triggers free spins, granting 7 spins. Additional Scatters during this feature can provide 7 more spins. Each spin in the free spins mode guarantees a minimum win equal to the initial bet, with the chance to increase this amount for later spins if a higher win is achieved.
Additionally, players can opt for a Bonus Buy feature, allowing them to purchase the Free Spins mode at a fixed price, starting with a fully charged Love Meter. The game offers various betting options to cater to different player preferences, with a maximum win potential of up to x7,602 the bet.
You can play it for real money.
