Valley of the Gods 2

Developed by Yggdrasil, Valley of the Gods 2 is a video slot inspired by the magnificence of ancient Egypt, showcasing themes such as temples, hieroglyphs, Anubis, and treasures of the desert. The game features six reels arranged in an inverted pyramid layout, with positions set at 1-2-3-4-5-2 per reel, resulting in 240 ways to win. Symbols can serve as "blockers," and each winning combination removes a specific number of these blockers, allowing the reels to expand to a maximum configuration of 3-4-5-6-7-8 positions per reel, which can lead to as many as 20,160 ways to win.

Rather than a traditional free spins feature, Valley of the Gods 2 employs a respin mechanism that activates with every winning spin. These respins persist as long as players continue to win or until they exhaust their extra lives. Once all blockers are cleared, players can engage with the Scarab Collection feature, where they collect colored scarabs to fill three meters or unlock bonus features like extra lives, Wild Reels, and multipliers.

Extra lives offer a "second chance" on losing spins, provided players have gathered red scarabs, allowing them to prolong the respin series. Collecting five golden scarabs fills the Wild Reel meter, which turns a random reel into a wild that remains until it contributes to a win or the respins end. Blue scarabs increase the win multiplier by one for every five collected, which applies to the next respin, with no limit on how high the multiplier can grow.

There is no option to purchase bonus features, and the game does not include a separate bonus mode outside of regular gameplay; all special features must be obtained through collecting scarabs and clearing blockers. With a betting range that suits both casual players and high rollers, Valley of the Gods 2 is designed to appeal to a broad audience. The combination of dynamic grid expansion, the respin feature, and strategic meters for lives, wild reels, and multipliers creates an engaging gaming experience, especially when all reels are fully operational.
