Peek & Pounce

Hacksaw presents Peek & Pounce, a video slot featuring a whimsical cat-and-mouse theme that adds a playful touch to the gaming experience. The game operates on a grid consisting of 5 reels and 4 rows, with 20 fixed paylines available for players. Central to the gameplay is the Wild Chase feature, where during any spin, two to five mice may randomly appear from holes positioned above the reels. If a Wild symbol, known as Señor Pounce, lands directly beneath one of these mice, he jumps up to catch it, transforming all symbols from his position to the top of that reel into Wilds. Each mouse caught provides a random multiplier ranging from 2× to 500×, and if multiple Wild Chases happen in a single spin, their multipliers are summed before being applied to the total win.

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatter symbols activates the Catch The Cheese Free Spins bonus round, awarding players with 10, 15, or 20 free spins, respectively. During this feature, Señor Pounce can catch mice even on spins that don’t yield regular wins, and every multiplier earned contributes to a persistent Multiplier Meter that remains active throughout the bonus round, affecting each spin’s win. Additionally, players have the option to use the Feature Buy, allowing them to purchase various bonus modes. These include “BonusHunt FeatureSpins,” which enhance the chances of triggering a bonus game, “WildChase FeatureSpins,” ensuring at least one Wild Chase per spin, and direct access to the Catch The Cheese bonus. Peek & Pounce boasts a maximum win potential of up to 10,000× the stake. The charming art style features Señor Pounce as a stylish cat guarding cheese from playful mice, enhanced by food-themed symbols and entertaining animations.
