Crystal Queen

Quickspin presents Crystal Queen, a video slot that draws inspiration from H.C. Andersen’s Snow Queen fairytale, set in a winter wonderland. The game features a 5×3 reel structure with 20 fixed paylines, enhanced by the “Swooping Reels” mechanic that triggers with each winning combination. When a win occurs, the winning symbols vanish, allowing new ones to cascade in, and each successive win, known as a “swoop,” can unlock additional frozen rows above the reels—up to three extra rows—expanding the layout to 5×6 reels with a total of 56 paylines. With each swoop, a multiplier also increases: it starts at 2× after the first win, rises to 3× after the second, and reaches 5× after the third, applying to wins that follow in the sequence.

The game includes two varieties of Wild symbols: a standard Wild that substitutes for regular symbols (excluding Scatters) and a Spreading Wild that can appear on specific reels, transforming adjacent positions into more Wilds. Additionally, players can trigger a Free Spins bonus by landing three or more Scatter symbols. During Free Spins, all six rows and 56 paylines are active from the first spin, and wins are counted in both directions—left-to-right and right-to-left. When no more wins occur in a Swooping Reels sequence, the game reverts to its original 3-row and 20-payline setup. The maximum win is limited, and the original game version does not offer a feature buy option.

You can play it for real money.
