Diamond Link™: Cops 'n' Robbers™ V2

The video slot Diamond Link™: Cops 'n' Robbers™ V2 by Novomatic features a layout of 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 20 fixed paylines. This game combines the classic theme of cops and robbers with elements like heists, police chases, and the playful character Bert, who is a robber. A key aspect of the game is the Diamond Link™ Feature, also known as Diamond Cash™, which activates when six or more Diamond symbols appear in one spin. When triggered, all Diamond symbols from the base game transform into Pink Diamonds, each representing a value as a multiplier of the player's bet.

During the Diamond Link™ Feature, one to four highlighted positions are created behind randomly selected Diamonds on the reels. A board game format is introduced, where Bert advances across squares determined by dice rolls. These squares represent various fields, including Spin Fields, Jail Fields, Diamond Fields, and Special Fields. If Bert lands on a Spin Field, all Diamond symbols are locked, and the remaining non-Diamond positions are respun for additional chances to collect Diamonds. A landing on a Jail Field initiates an ID Parade, where Bert might be caught, ending the Diamond Link™ Feature. When Bert lands on a Diamond Field, the multiplier for the getaway truck increases, all Diamond multipliers on the board double, and the Security Level increases, raising the stakes for the next ID Parade. Special Fields grant a golden dice roll that can randomly activate one of the modifiers: Add, Multiply, or Collect, impacting the highlighted Pink Diamonds.

Throughout the Diamond Link™ Feature, Sticky Diamonds remain fixed during respins. The feature concludes if Bert is apprehended during the ID Parade, if all 15 reel positions are filled with Diamonds (resulting in the Grand Jackpot), or when the player reaches the maximum win. The game includes four jackpot levels: Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand, each with its own prize cap. In the base game, Wild symbols can substitute for all regular symbols, except for Diamond symbols. The specifics regarding Free Spins or Bonus Buy features in this version are not clearly defined within the documented mechanics.
