Myth of Medusa Gold

Myth of Medusa Gold, developed by Novomatic, is a video slot featuring a layout of 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 fixed paylines. The game is inspired by ancient Greek mythology, showcasing symbols such as Medusa, Perseus, Pegasus, helmets, and vases against a beautifully designed backdrop of temples and marble. The Medusa symbol serves as a wild, substituting for all standard symbols except the scatter, and is among the most valuable symbols in the game.

To trigger the free spins feature, players need to land two scatter symbols on reels 1 and 5, which awards 7 free spins. The scatter symbols that activate this feature turn into special sticky wilds known as Red Medusa on those reels, remaining in place for the entire duration of the free spins. If additional Red Medusa symbols appear on reels 1 or 5 during the free spins, players receive extra free spins.

The Mirror Bonus feature may also be activated during the free spins. When a Mirror symbol lands on reel 3, it randomly selects one of the regular symbols, replacing all positions on reels 2, 3, and 4 with the chosen symbol for that spin, enhancing the potential for wins.

Additionally, a jackpot feature is present in the free spins round. Jackpot overlay symbols can appear on reels 2 and 4, and collecting six of these during the free spins results in winning the jackpot. These overlays remain in place until enough are collected or the free spins conclude. The game does not offer a bonus buy option, focusing instead on the interaction between wilds, free spins with sticky wilds, the Mirror symbol, and jackpot overlays, which contribute to the unique character and risk-reward dynamic of Myth of Medusa Gold.
