Twister

Netent's Twister is a video slot that draws inspiration from the iconic Twister party game, created in collaboration with Hasbro. The game showcases a vibrant 1960s retro aesthetic, complete with colorful visuals, character symbols representing four individuals from that era, and low-paying card symbols, all arranged on a grid of 4 reels and 6 rows, offering 1,296 ways to win. Wins are determined through Netent’s Avalanche mechanic, where winning combinations disappear, allowing new symbols to cascade down.

A key feature of the game is the Twister Spinner, which can activate in both the base game and during Free Spins. When it appears, it activates a wheel split into four sections representing body parts—Left Foot, Right Foot, Right Hand, Left Hand—where each section's color indicates the strength of the effect. This can result in one of four types of Wilds: Upgrade Wild, which transforms low-win symbols into medium-win ones; Multiplier Wild, which enhances the number of winning ways; Locked Wilds, which remain for multiple Avalanches; or Random Wilds, which introduce additional Wilds.

Landing three or four Scatter symbols triggers Free Spins, granting either six or eleven spins, respectively. During these spins, each Twister Spinner that lands increases a progressive multiplier by +1, starting at 1× and maintaining its value throughout the bonus round without resetting. More Scatters during Free Spins can lead to additional free spins.

Twister also features a Buy Feature, enabling players to access the Free Spins round directly by paying 100 times their current bet, ensuring that the triggered spin results in three or four Scatters and immediately awards six or eleven Free Spins. The maximum win potential is set at 4,300 times the bet, and Wilds cannot replace Scatter symbols. Together, these elements create a dynamic and high-variance gameplay experience focused on cascades, modifier Wilds, and increasing multipliers.
