Wild Dragon Express – Hold & Hit 3×3 by Spinomenal is a video slot that uses a 3-reel and 3-row grid, with five fixed paylines. This game stands out for its Asia-inspired visual theme, incorporating elements such as pagodas, lanterns, jade lions, and a dragon that acts as a wild symbol, all set against a backdrop of a steam locomotive traversing mountainous landscapes. It is part of Spinomenal's "Hold & Hit 3×3" series, featuring a unique bonus mechanic rather than traditional free spins.
In the main game, players can achieve small wins by aligning matching symbols on the paylines. The wild dragon symbol replaces most other symbols, except for bonus symbols, and offers the highest payouts for winning combinations. Two special symbols are present: a bonus symbol that appears only on reels one and three, and a bonus collect symbol that is limited to reel two. When the bonus collect symbol is visible on reel two at the same time as bonus symbols on reels one and three, it triggers the bonus round, locking those symbols.
During the bonus round, players start with three respins, where only bonus and bonus collect symbols can appear. Each time a symbol appears, the respin counter resets to three. The values of the bonus symbols are collected by the active bonus collect symbols. During this feature, empty positions can offer multipliers or trigger jackpot symbols. The round ends after three respins without a new bonus symbol, or when the cap is reached.
Additionally, Wild Dragon Express incorporates the Bonus Blast mechanic, which can randomly add extra bonus and bonus collect symbols in the base game to facilitate the activation of the bonus round. An instant win mechanism is also present: when the bonus collect symbol appears with bonus or jackpot symbols, it can accumulate their values for a payout, even if the triggering condition is not fully met. For those who wish to quickly access the bonus round, the Buy Bonus feature allows for an immediate entry purchase.
You can play it for real money.
