Big Sumo™

Big Sumo™ is a video slot from Playtech that draws inspiration from the Japanese sumo tradition. The game consists of 5 reels and 3 rows, with a total of 25 paylines. The symbols include playing cards from 10 to Ace, drums, fans, and festive sumo figures, alongside Wild symbols that help create winning combinations. There are two types of Wilds: the "Sumo Wild," which appears on reels 2, 4, and 5, and the "Big Sumo™ Wild," which can only be found on reel 3. The Scatter symbol, representing rice symbols ("Rice"), activates the Big Sumo™ feature when it appears on reels 1 and 5 with the Big Sumo™ Wild on reel 3. This feature expands the playing field to 5x5, doubles the number of paylines to 50, and offers five free spins.

The number of rice symbols that activated the feature determines how many bowls are on the counter ("Rice Stack") at the start of the free spins. After each round, Big Sumo™ moves to each visible rice symbol, eats them, and increases the counter. When the counter reaches its maximum, Big Sumo™ grows in size and the player receives an extra spin. Filling the entire playing field activates the Mega Reel, which can contain multipliers of up to 350 times the bet.

Additionally, the game features the Triple Way Jackpots, where specific symbols (Gold or Silver Triple Way) give the chance to win one of three progressive jackpots: Minor, Major, or Grand, if they appear in sufficient numbers. There is also a Bonus Buy feature available in areas where this is permitted, allowing players to enter the Big Sumo™ feature directly for a fixed cost of the bet.

You can play it for real money.
