Hot Gems Xtreme

Hot Gems Xtreme is a video slot from Playtech with a theme of gem mining, where you spin on six reels surrounded by gemstones, mining tools, mine carts, and lanterns in an old west mine. The game uses a Ways-Boost system: the setup starts with 6×4 reels that provide 4,096 ways to win, and winning combinations (or cascade wins) activate the Growing Reels feature, which adds extra rows up to a maximum of 8 rows and increases the number of winning ways to as many as 262,144. There are special TNT symbols that explode, remove adjacent standard symbols, turn into wilds, and add rows for additional payouts. Another feature is Walking Mystery Symbols: when a mystery symbol appears, it moves around to adjacent positions and converts symbols it passes into mystery symbols, before all mystery symbols transform into the same standard symbol from reel 1 to potentially increase wins. Regular "Big Symbols" also appear (in sizes 2×2 and 3×3), which drop down and remove standard symbols beneath them. The game includes a Free Spins bonus round that is activated by landing 3 or more scatter or bonus symbols anywhere on the reels; 3 scatters give 10 spins, 4 give 12, 5 give 18, and 6 give 25 spins. During Free Spins, the extra rows obtained via Growing Reels remain locked in place for the rest of the feature, so the number of ways to win does not reset to the base setup height on non-winning spins. Most special features (TNT, Walking Mystery, Big Symbols) are active in both the base game and the free spins round. The maximum win possible is up to 10,000× your bet under favorable conditions.

You can play it for real money.
