The game Hot Gems™ Xtreme PowerPlay Jackpot from Playtech is a video slot with a gemstone and mining theme, set in a crystal cave filled with jewels and mining tools. The layout starts with 6 reels and 4 rows, offering 4,096 ways to win, but can expand to 262,144 ways through the Ways Boost mechanic when rows are added after wins. The game features cascading or collapsing reels: winning symbols disappear, others fall down, and new symbols come in to form more wins.
Wild symbols – including a diamond Wild and a TNT Wild – replace regular symbols (except for special symbols), and the TNT Wild also explodes adjacent symbols after it becomes wild. Large symbols of 2×2 or 3×3 can appear and crush smaller symbols below when they land. Walking Mystery Symbols move across the reels and change every position they pass into Mystery Symbols, which then transform into a random symbol from reel 1.
A Free Spins feature is activated by landing 3 or more Bonus symbols (scatter), awarding a number of free games depending on how many appear: respectively, 3, 4, 5, or 6+ Bonus symbols grant increasingly more free spins. During the Free Spins, the expanded Ways Boost grid remains active, and Safety Levels prevent the grid from resetting after explosions.
Additionally, Hot Gems™ Xtreme PowerPlay Jackpot includes a jackpot feature called PowerPlay Jackpot, which offers three progressive jackpots: Mini, Peak, and Mega, which can be won randomly on any spin in the base game.
You can play it for real money.
