Butterfly Staxx 2

Netent's Butterfly Staxx 2 is a video slot featuring a 5-reel, 4-row layout with 40 fixed paylines. Set in a serene butterfly garden adorned with flowers, cocoon symbols, and elegant butterflies, the game is complemented by a gentle ambient soundtrack against a soft natural backdrop. In the base game, when butterfly symbols appear fully stacked on a reel, they activate the Re-Spins feature. These butterflies will lock in place and shift to the leftmost available positions on their respective rows, with additional Re-Spins granted for any new butterflies that land.

During the Re-Spins, players have the chance to unlock up to three distinct play areas. Filling the two leftmost reels with butterflies opens a second grid, while filling the three leftmost reels unlocks a third. This enhancement increases the number of active reels and the potential for wins. Additionally, a wild symbol represented by a lotus flower substitutes for all symbols except the scatter. If scatter symbols land on reels 1, 3, and 5 during the main game, players can choose between two bonus rounds: Butterfly Spins or Butterfly Frenzy.

Butterfly Spins is a free spins feature where only cocoon symbols appear, which can be either active or dormant. Active cocoons will transform into butterflies, which then move to the leftmost open positions on their rows. All three play areas remain active during these free spins. In contrast, Butterfly Frenzy is a pick-and-click bonus feature that consists of up to five stages. Players begin with a specific number of picks and can earn additional picks and opportunities for larger cash prizes as they progress through the stages.

There is no option for a bonus buy in this game, as all bonus features are activated through gameplay by landing scatters or full stacks of butterflies. The game is designed for both desktop and mobile play, ensuring consistent graphics and animations across devices.

You can play it for real money.
