Football: Champions Cup

Netent's Football: Champions Cup is a video slot inspired by football tournaments, featuring a grid of 5 reels and 3 rows with 20 fixed paylines. The game immerses players in a sports-themed atmosphere, allowing them to choose a national team before they start spinning. Players will encounter vibrant graphics showcasing stadium scenes, enthusiastic crowds, and various symbols such as boots, gloves, jerseys, trophies, and standard playing cards. Within the base game, Wild symbols can substitute for other symbols, excluding bonus and scatter symbols, and Overlay Wilds can appear randomly, enhancing wild coverage by turning other positions wild. To activate the Free Spins Tournament, players need to land three Scatter symbols on reels 2, 3, and 4, leading them into a knockout format that includes rounds like Round of 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and Final, with each round providing 6 free spins. During Free Spins, players will also encounter Scoring Wilds: blue Scoring Wilds on reels 1 and 2 score goals for the player, while red Scoring Wilds on reels 4 and 5 score for the opponent. If a Free Spins round results in a tie, additional spins are awarded until one team emerges victorious, and progressing through rounds results in more spins and greater rewards for first, second, and third places. Additionally, landing three or more Bonus symbols anywhere triggers the Penalty Shootout Bonus, a pick-and-click game where players alternate between taking penalties and acting as the goalkeeper over five rounds, with multipliers increasing based on the number of Bonus symbols that activated the round. The multiplier ranges vary: three Bonus symbols yield a lower base multiplier that can grow during the shootout, four symbols provide a higher starting multiplier, and five symbols offer the highest potential multiplier. Throughout the gameplay, music, sounds, and visual effects contribute to the overall tournament atmosphere.
