Boofa

Apollo Play presents Boofa, a video slot that immerses players in an Ancient Egypt “Book of” theme, blending traditional slot mechanics with a wealth of bonus features. The game features a structure of 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 10 fixed paylines. Symbols include card ranks, scarabs, Aset icons, golden masks, and adventurers. The Book serves as the main special symbol, functioning as both Wild and Scatter; landing three or more triggers a Free Spins round consisting of ten spins. Prior to the Free Spins, a regular symbol is randomly selected to become Expanding during the feature, allowing it to fill entire reels and generate wins even if the symbols are not adjacent.

Beyond Free Spins, players can enjoy two additional bonus features: the Scarab Bonus and the Aset Bonus. The Scarab Bonus activates when three highlighted scarab symbols appear, leading to a pick-and-win game that awards an instant prize. The Aset Bonus is initiated by three highlighted Aset symbols, featuring two bonus wheels—one to determine a prize value and the other to assign a multiplier to that prize. While Boofa does not include a progressive jackpot, it offers a maximum win of 500× the bet from a single winning combination.

Visually, Boofa opts for a darker color scheme compared to many other Egyptian-themed slots, utilizing deep browns, ochres, and charcoal tones to create a mysterious tomb-like ambiance. The sound design incorporates subtle ambient tones that enhance tension, particularly when the Book symbol appears or during the approach of bonus rounds. With a range of bet sizes from low to moderate, the slot caters to both casual players and those looking for larger returns through its bonus features. Autoplay functionality is also available, enabling players to spin consecutively without needing to intervene manually.

You can play it for real money.
