A Day at the Derby

Rival's A Day at the Derby is a video slot featuring a horse racing theme, showcased across five reels and twenty fixed paylines. The game incorporates classic derby elements such as jockeys, roses, trophies, binoculars, betting sheets, and an enthusiastic crowd. Wild symbols, depicted as brown horses, can be found on the first three reels and serve to replace regular symbols, aiding in the formation of winning combinations. The scatter symbol is represented by the Blue Jockey; landing three or more of these symbols activates a free spins feature, granting five, ten, or twenty free spins based on the number of scatters, with all wins during this round multiplied by three. Additionally, a bonus round is triggered when three or more Grey Horse symbols appear anywhere on the reels, allowing players to select one of three horses in a virtual race, with rewards based on the performance of the chosen horse. The Green Jockey symbol is the highest-paying regular icon, offering significant payouts for matching five on a payline. The game includes multipliers in the free spins feature and also connects to wilds in winning combinations. Players can bet up to ten coins per line, with coin values starting from very low denominations, making it accessible for various bankrolls. A progressive jackpot or bonus buy option is not available; instead, jackpot winnings are derived solely from the symbols and features integrated into the game. Although the graphics may appear more dated compared to newer slots, the game's theme and character resonate well with fans of traditional slot design.
