Carol of the Elves

Yggdrasil presents "Carol of the Elves," a festive video slot featuring a unique 5-reel, 5-row structure that begins in a diamond shape of 1-3-5-3-1 and can expand to a complete 5×5 grid. This game captures the essence of Christmas with symbols like snow-foxes, polar bears, reindeer, and woodland elves, all contributing to the holiday spirit on the reels. The gameplay kicks off with 12 ice Blockers obstructing symbol positions, which can be eliminated by “Magic Stars” that are generated from winning symbols. Each win triggers a respin, and these respins continue as long as players achieve winning combinations. When all Blockers are cleared, two special features come into play: a Win Multiplier that starts at ×2 and increases by +1 for every five blue Magic Stars collected, and Extra Lives, which are obtained by gathering red Magic Stars in groups of five. Extra Lives enable players to endure a losing respin without resetting the Blockers. The game does not include traditional wild or scatter symbols, nor is there a free spins round; all bonus features arise from the respin chain and the powers of the elves. Initially, there are 45 ways to win, which can expand to as many as 3,125 when the grid is fully unlocked. The game offers a maximum win potential of approximately 5,800 times the bet.
