Developed by Pragmatic Play, "8 Dragons" is a video slot that features 5 reels, 3 rows, and 20 fixed paylines. The game is inspired by elements of Chinese mythology, showcasing symbols like lucky dragons, red envelopes, and golden coins, all set against a vibrant red and gold backdrop. Premium symbols include animal-themed icons such as dragons, fish, and turtles, while lower-paying symbols are represented by playing cards ranging from 9 to Ace. The wild symbol, which is designed as the number 8, appears stacked in pairs exclusively on reels 2, 3, and 4, substituting for all other symbols except the scatter. When a full wild stack is landed during the base game, it triggers a 2x multiplier on the winnings for that spin.
The game also includes a Mystery Stacked Symbol feature, where a paying symbol is randomly chosen to become a "mystery stack" on each spin, applicable in both the base game and free spins. Free spins are initiated by landing three or more scatter symbols, represented by red envelopes, anywhere on the reels. Players have the option to select from five different bonus packages during free spins, which include choices like 5 spins with high multipliers, 8 spins with lower multipliers, 15 spins with moderate multipliers, 20 spins with the lowest multipliers, or a mystery option that randomly selects both the number of spins and the multiplier range from the previous options. During the free spins, full wild stacks can multiply winnings by a random multiplier within the chosen range.
If three or more scatters land during the free spins, a new round of free spins is triggered with the same number of spins as initially chosen. Players cannot purchase their way into the bonus round; free spins must be activated through the appearance of scatter symbols. The game does not include a separate bonus round outside of free spins, emphasizing the versatility within the bonus round and allowing players to tailor their experience by combining the number of spins with multiplier strength.
You can play it for real money.
