Aztec Coins

In the video slot Aztec Coins by Platipus, players are immersed in a vibrant ancient Aztec setting featuring a grid of 5 reels and 3 rows, along with 50 fixed paylines. The game showcases a variety of symbols, including gold artefacts, coins, and classic card ranks, all rendered in rich colors. The Wild symbol, represented by the Aztec king, can replace regular symbols, excluding the Scatter and Bonus symbols, and is particularly abundant during Free Spins as it appears stacked. Free Spins are activated when three or more Scatter symbols, depicted as Aztec pyramids, land on the reels, granting a set number of free rounds.

During the Free Spins feature, additional Wilds can appear on designated reels, and collecting multiple extra Wilds can lead to the activation of Mini, Minor, or Major Jackpot prizes. A Respin feature is triggered when at least six Bonus symbols are present in a single spin, locking those symbols in place and providing three respins. If more Bonus symbols appear during these respins, the counter resets, and their hidden values are totaled at the end. Should all reel positions be filled with Bonus symbols during the Respin feature, the Grand Jackpot is won. Platipus has crafted this game to include several fixed jackpot tiers—Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand—which can be accessed through both Free Spins and the Respin round. The game features high volatility, indicating that while payouts may not occur frequently, they can be substantial when the right bonus conditions are met.
