Xmas Avalanche

Xmas Avalanche, created by Platipus, is a video slot that operates on a 7×7 grid and utilizes cluster pays rather than conventional paylines. The game immerses players in a festive Christmas theme, showcasing a winter wonderland filled with snow, holiday ornaments, gingerbread treats, wreaths, and colorful baubles, all contributing to a magical atmosphere. Wins are achieved by forming clusters of five or more matching symbols that connect either vertically or horizontally. Following a winning cluster, the symbols vanish in an “avalanche” effect, allowing new symbols to cascade down and potentially create additional wins.

Gift Box Wilds serve as the wild symbols, appearing randomly after a winning cluster is cleared; if a wild is part of a subsequent win, its multiplier doubles. In the base game, these wild multipliers start at 2× and can increase up to 256×. Special symbols known as Star Scatters activate a free spins feature when three or more are landed, granting between 10 and 25 spins based on the number of Scatters collected. During the free spins, wild multipliers receive enhancements, beginning at 3× and capable of reaching up to 729×.

Additionally, Xmas Avalanche includes a Bonus Buy feature, enabling players to pay for immediate access to the Free Spins round, skipping the need to trigger it through the base game. With medium volatility and the potential for significant wins, the game is crafted to deliver a blend of frequent cascading action and wild multipliers, all wrapped in a festive theme.
