Lunar Link: The Legend of King Arthur™ by Playtech is a video slot that features a structure of 5 reels and 30 fixed paylines, set in the medieval world of Camelot, where elements of the Arthurian legend combine with moon-related motifs. King Arthur is the main Wild symbol, which can substitute for other symbols, except for special symbols like BONUS and Moon. There are two types of Moon symbols: the Blue Moon, which offers a cash value, and the Golden Moon, which activates the Lunar Link Wheel feature.
The activation of the Free Spins feature occurs by obtaining three or more BONUS symbols (shields), providing 6 free spins. During these spins, Wild or Moon symbols may appear in sizes of 1×1, 2×2, or 3×3 on reels 2-4. If at least 6 Moon symbols are achieved during the Free Spins, they are separated into individual symbols, thereby activating the Hold & Respin feature.
The Golden Moon symbol is the one that triggers the Lunar Link Wheel feature, guaranteeing a reward, which can be cash, a multiplier, more Free Spins, or access to bonus rounds that include Mini, Minor, or Major jackpots. The Lunar Link Hold & Respin feature is activated with six or more Moon symbols anywhere on the reels, or five if the Extra Bet mode has been chosen. Once activated, these symbols are fixed in place, the player receives three respins, and any new Moon symbol resets the count.
During the Hold & Respin feature, special symbols like Chest Moon may appear, which collects all current and future Moon values in that row, or Crown Moon, which upgrades up to eight random Moon symbols to a level of 10 times the bet. If the first three columns are completely filled with Moon symbols, a special spin on the Wheel is unlocked, where multipliers of up to 5× are applied to all Moon symbol values in that column. The top column allows access to Mini, Minor, or Major jackpots, and filling five positions on the fifth reel unlocks the Grand jackpot.
By choosing the Extra Bet mode, the bet is doubled, but the number of Moon symbols needed to activate Hold & Respin is reduced from six to five. The developers have included visuals in the game that feature Merlin, magic books, crystal balls, and other iconic elements of the legend, along with lunar effects that enhance the excitement with each spin.
You can play it for real money.
