Playtech's The Great Genie™ is a captivating video slot game that showcases a 5x3 reel layout with 50 fixed paylines, drawing inspiration from the mesmerizing Arabian desert. The game immerses players in a fantastical world with symbols like lamps, snakes, treasure chests, and royal figures. In the base game, players may encounter the genie unexpectedly, triggering the "Make a Wish On-Reels" feature. This feature allows for the selection of various random rewards, which can include additional Wild symbols, stacked princess symbols, or the transformation of certain symbols into Wilds with multipliers, as well as the addition of Scatter symbols to improve the chances of activating the special wheel.
When three or more Scatter symbols land on the reels, the Great Bonus Wheel feature is initiated, presenting a selection of thrilling options, such as free bonuses and different Free Spins rounds or a Hold and Respin round. There are three distinct Free Spins versions: Genie Storm, which begins with 6 free spins and features a moving stacked Wild that boosts the multiplier; Gold of Arabia, offering 8 free spins with collected Coin symbols and a frozen Genie; and Desert King, starting with 10 free spins that include a fixed Wild and a multiplier that increases every two spins.
The Palace of Gold Hold and Respin feature utilizes a larger 5x5 grid where special symbols remain locked, granting re-spins until no new symbols appear, with the potential for Mini, Minor, Major, and Grand prizes. Additionally, players can take advantage of a Bonus Buy option, enabling them to pay a set amount to access the Great Bonus Wheel directly instead of waiting during the base game. The Wild symbol, represented by a golden lamp, substitutes for regular symbols to enhance winning chances, while the Scatter, marked "BONUS," activates the wheel when three or more are collected on the reels. The audio-visual elements of the game beautifully capture the essence of Arabian themes and mythical stories, offering a magical and exhilarating gaming experience.
You can play it for real money.
